There are many definitions of the term marketing, and we will review two of them:
  1. Marketing can be defined as the process by which companies provide value to customers and build strong relationships with them in order to obtain value from customers.
  2. Marketing is a set of activities that work to discover the desires of customers and develop a set of products or services that satisfy their desires and achieve profits for the organization during an appropriate period of time.
